Equipment Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to support new R&D equipment and facility upgrades.
• Develop improvements for hardware, software, and processes to drive continuous improvement in equipment operations.
• Write technical procedures and processes for in-house activities.
• Coordinate with facilities teams to align equipment work with site infrastructure.
• Meet project milestones and deliverables as set by leadership while maintaining a safety-first mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience working with capital equipment, preferably in a clean room environment.
• Experience within the semiconductor industry or a related field.
• Proven ability to read and interpret schematic designs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex, high-tech equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (includes a second shift and occasional Saturdays).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ALD, CVD, RTP, and wet cleaning processing.
• Experience working in a dynamic R&D laboratory environment.
