Equipment Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with LGES partners and equipment vendors
• Manage equipment investment and schedules
• Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Line of Balance (LOB)
• Install, modify, analyze, repair, and test new tools and machines for battery manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with teams to improve process quality and conduct equipment modifications
• Manage plans for daily maintenance activities
• Complete daily documentation and audits of equipment performance
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R Standards
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of equipment engineering experience in a production or plant environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Data analysis skills
• Ability to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience
• Six Sigma certification
• DOE (Design of Experiments) experience
• CAD and coding skills
