About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and resolve failures in enterprise laboratory instruments and automation systems.
- Conduct root cause investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instrumentation to ensure reliability.
- Document all service activities accurately in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory frameworks (OSHA, FDA, ISO, CLIA).
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support troubleshooting and project execution.
- Support process improvements by drafting or revising SOPs and optimizing workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Electronics, or a related field; OR an Associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience interpreting mechanical parts and assembly drawings.
- Experience working with electrical circuits and diagrams.
- Proficiency using electrical measurement tools such as multi-meters and analyzers.
- Ability to work a Tuesday through Friday schedule (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) and perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
