About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform and document troubleshooting, recovery, debugging, and repairs on laboratory systems and equipment.
- Create and update technical documentation including procedures, work instructions, and testing documents (IQ/OQ/PQ) and SOPs.
- Support root cause investigations to drive resolutions to completion.
- Execute Equipment Lifecycle Management processes to maintain equipment records in compliance with CLIA/CAP and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Collaborate with validation engineers to draft, review, and execute equipment qualification protocols.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams to enable effective technology transfer and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- Experience generating technical documentation within a regulated environment.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Basic to good knowledge of laboratory equipment and systems.
- Ability to create and interpret process and material flow diagrams.
- Strong communication and time management skills to support a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with asset management software or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- 1+ years of experience maintaining automated liquid handling systems (e.g., MultiFlo/Bravo, STAR/STARlet, Echo, Lynx) or high-throughput NGS sequencers.
- 1+ years of experience writing and implementing test protocols and procedures.
- Experience using Green Button Go.
