Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, commissioning, and validation of battery production equipment
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure production efficiency
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Drive automation enhancements and technical upgrades to increase throughput
• Analyze equipment performance data to optimize system settings and yield
• Provide hands-on technical support and training to production and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO9001 and IATF16949
• Participate in EHS initiatives and conduct risk assessments for high-voltage processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with automated production equipment
• Expertise in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial machinery
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors, and servo systems
• Proficiency in CAD software for equipment design review
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Experience with predictive maintenance and process control techniques
