Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead data organization for major downtime anomalies and implement corrective actions using 4D/8D standards
• Drive equipment improvement and innovation projects within the assigned area
• Manage spare parts and establish/update equipment operating specifications
• Output technical reports and conduct monthly technical training sessions
• Assist supervisors in identifying equipment safety risks and auditing production line 5S/standardization
• Communicate with manufacturers regarding equipment issues and improvement directions
• Manage area-specific technical projects, including solution design and process management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or a related field
• Proven experience in equipment engineering, design, or maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical or mechanical maintenance, mechanical design, circuit design, or programming
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management or budget management experience
• Experience in solar module, wafer, or glass manufacturing
• Experience working in cleanroom environments
• Green Belt certification
