Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions to strengthen equipment reliability
• Critically assess production and maintenance processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Introduce and guide new technologies and methodologies within the production environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including maintenance, engineering, production, and quality
• Act as a second-line troubleshooter for complex escalations and perform deep-dive root cause analysis
• Train and coach technicians while ensuring clear technical documentation is maintained
• Contribute to improvement and investment projects to meet operational and strategic goals

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a maintenance or technical environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to approach complex problems structurally
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a production setting
• Solid knowledge of production equipment and maintenance processes
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
