Equipment Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing production plans and ensure workplace safety
• Optimize equipment effectiveness (OEE) and maximize manufacturing performance
• Use data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) to solve complex equipment problems
• Monitor machine micro stops, breakdowns, and yield impacts to develop countermeasures
• Develop production work orders, including updating PLC Ladder Logic, mechanical designs, and vision systems
• Test and implement new technologies to improve process efficiency
• Communicate with local and international vendors to facilitate equipment repairs
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to provide hands-on equipment support
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
• Flexibility to work adjusted shifts and travel up to 5-10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing co-op experience
• Knowledge of battery production
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, etc.)
• Korean language proficiency
