Equipment Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Generate and update documentation including FMEA, training materials, SOP, and WI
• Investigate line abnormalities, quality issues, and yield loss to implement timely actions
• Lead KPI projects focused on machine performance, cost reduction, yield, quality, capacity, and productivity
• Collaborate with Process and NPI teams on machine and product-related items
• Manage machine/tooling buy-off and standardization
• Support customer audits and implement required actions
• Prepare 8D reports and presentations for QAF/RMA cases
• Support other functional teams on key projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in machine/mechanical design and optimization
• Experience with Inspection Machines
• Expertise in data analysis and problem-solving
• Proficiency in QC tools including 7QC, MSA, SPC, 8D, and DOE
• Familiarity with reporting and data analysis software such as Excel, JMP, and AutoCAD
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Equipment Engineering
