Responsibilities

  • Inspect and perform or schedule maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are ready for regular business operations and special events
  • Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and occupational health issues
  • Ensure employee training on applicable safety and environmental standards
  • Document and investigate reported injuries, accidents, and incidents
  • Maintain files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts
  • Manage inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment
  • Provide recommendations for new equipment purchases and facility improvements
  • Collaborate with management to prepare and implement department budgets
  • Support facility construction, renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and contractor management
  • Coordinate with local government agencies and external providers regarding safety, environmental, and compliance matters
  • Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments related to equipment, facilities, and EHS activities
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience managing company facilities, equipment, and EHS activities preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain records, licenses, certifications, and warranties
  • Ability to understand written directions in manuals and manufacturer documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry, vehicle manufacturing, assembly plants, or industrial production environments
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing equipment, assembly line systems, and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, local environmental regulations, and industrial EHS requirements
  • Knowledge of facility construction, civil work coordination, and contractor management
  • Experience with local government approval, permitting, and environmental compliance processes
