Epoxy Process Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the Microwave Automated Factory (ISO Class 8 cleanroom) in high-volume, high-mix production
• Provide on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems
• Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly
• Collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers
• Develop and implement process improvements using statistical process control, experimental designs, and root cause analysis
• Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes through qualification and acceptance testing

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or other 2-year post-high school training
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with automated assembly equipment
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom environment following ESD procedures
• Experience with automated dispense, pick-and-place, and curing processes
• Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
