About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Microwave Automated Factory (ISO Class 8 cleanroom) in high-volume, high-mix production
- Provide on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems
- Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly
- Collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers
- Develop and implement process improvements using statistical process control, experimental designs, and root cause analysis
- Evaluate materials, equipment, and processes through qualification and acceptance testing
Requirements
- AA/AS degree or other 2-year post-high school training
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with automated assembly equipment
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a cleanroom environment following ESD procedures
- Experience with automated dispense, pick-and-place, and curing processes
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, MS Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
