About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide epidemiological expertise to multidisciplinary data and research enablement teams.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop scalable, scientifically robust health datasets and analytical solutions.
  • Conduct descriptive, exploratory, and population health analyses to support research and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure analytical approaches are reproducible, scientifically rigorous, and aligned with governance, ethics, and disclosure control requirements.
  • Communicate analytical methods, assumptions, limitations, and findings to scientific, technical, and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to analytical standards, reusable code, and documentation to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a relevant biomedical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of study design, cohort construction, bias, confounding, and the interpretation of observational health data.
  • Experience working with large-scale health datasets, such as electronic health records or longitudinal cohort studies.
  • Proficiency in R or Python for statistical analysis and reproducible workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
