Epic Scheduling Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement daily schedule and provider templates within the Epic EHR system to enhance patient access.
• Maintain provider templates to ensure alignment with organizational guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and Operations to optimize scheduling efficiency and productivity.
• Process schedule change requests accurately and communicate updates to providers and relevant staff.
• Monitor appointment availability and maintain up-to-date documentation of scheduling processes and SOPs.
• Proactively identify and address scheduling issues to maintain operational continuity.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
• Minimum of two years of professional work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven experience with Epic scheduling and template building.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• High level of comfort working within Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse populations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
