About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement daily schedule and provider templates within the Epic EHR system to enhance patient access.
- Maintain provider templates to ensure alignment with organizational guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and Operations to optimize scheduling efficiency and productivity.
- Process schedule change requests accurately and communicate updates to providers and relevant staff.
- Monitor appointment availability and maintain up-to-date documentation of scheduling processes and SOPs.
- Proactively identify and address scheduling issues to maintain operational continuity.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proven experience with Epic scheduling and template building.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- High level of comfort working within Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse populations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
