Epic Analyst - Professional Billing

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development, implementation, and support of the Epic Resolute Professional Billing System
• Analyze and specify application requirements and workflows in collaboration with operations and clinical teams
• Assist with problem solving, testing, and documentation of billing systems
• Develop and maintain configuration decision and workflow documents
• Assist with data analysis including conversion, analytics, quality, and root cause analysis
• Review, evaluate, and test new software and software upgrades
• Maintain excellent customer service while working with physicians and team members

Requirements

• Epic Professional Billing certification required
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in information systems
• Familiarity with ambulatory physician billing practices
• Strong understanding of integration points including scheduling, imaging, and billing
• Ability to perform as a programmer/analyst to resolve complex problems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to outlying offices, including overnight stays
• Flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic Claims certification
• Experience with Epic’s reimbursement contract build
• Experience in a healthcare setting
