EPC Deputy Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the overall execution of EPC projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, project goals, and client expectations
• Assist in managing engineering deliverables, procurement timelines, and construction milestones
• Monitor project performance, including cost tracking, schedule adherence, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Participate in constructability reviews and support field execution planning
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work plans, progress reports, and cost forecasts
• Contribute to safety planning and implementation across all phases of the project
• Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
• Mentor junior staff and promote a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in construction or EPC project execution, preferably in power delivery or heavy industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and federal/OSHA requirements
• Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel and access active construction sites in varying conditions
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. or ability to obtain a TN visa (requires Canadian citizenship and a Bachelor of Engineering degree)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6, SAP, Prolog, or Hard Dollar
