EOP Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise EOP student workers for the academic year
• Collaborate with the Associate Director and Director to fulfill state and university reporting requirements
• Manage and oversee the grant and operating budget, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures
• Recruit potential EOP scholars through high school visits, college fairs, and Rider open houses
• Coordinate all aspects of event planning for the department
• Serve as the Rider EOP liaison and board member for the Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association of New Jersey (EOFPANJ)
• Perform additional duties related to EOP operations as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to pass satisfactory background and/or DMV checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EOF or opportunity program students
• Knowledge of University operations and experience in higher education administration
• Working knowledge of EOF regulations and policies
• Experience with budget management and departmental assessment
