Environmental/Chemical Substance Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive environmental technician duties in accordance with the Clean Air Conservation Act, Water Environment Conservation Act, and Wastes Control Act
• Manage environmental permits, reporting, and official notifications
• Inspect and manage the operational status of emission and prevention facilities
• Oversee the discharge, storage, and disposal of waste in compliance with legal regulations
• Manage hazardous chemical substance handling facilities
• Handle chemical substance permits, performance reporting, and statutory notifications
• Manage change processes for off-site impact assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Industrial Health, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, Fire Protection, or New Materials Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Possession of Air Pollution Environmental Engineer certification
• Possession of Water Pollution Environmental Engineer certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of Chemical Engineering Engineer certification
• Experience in managing facilities based on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
• Proven experience in manufacturing or environmental permitting processes
