Environmental Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Independently program, instrument and operate various test assets including thermal, thermal-vacuum, vibration shaker, and mechanical shock simulators
• Collaborate with engineering on test planning, fixture design, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Deliver accurate and calibrated measurements and insights
• Partner with engineering to analyze and interpret test data for troubleshooting hardware
• Maintain test lab equipment, manage inventory, and perform preventative maintenance
• Support manufacturing tasks as part of a small team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in environmental testing, preferably in aerospace
• Experience conducting thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and thermal cycling tests
• Proficiency with DAQ systems such as NI DAQ or Keysight
• Familiarity with MES platforms (e.g., SpaceX Warp Drive)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production development environment
• Experience with in-space electro-mechanical assemblies
• Experience with basic machining or fabrication using shop equipment
