Environmental Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform site environmental assessments and impact studies for real estate development projects
• Collect and analyze environmental data using specialized equipment and software
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
• Collaborate with real estate developers and project managers to implement sustainable construction practices
• Prepare detailed reports on environmental findings and recommendations
• Assist in obtaining necessary environmental licenses and certifications for real estate projects
• Monitor and evaluate the environmental performance of existing properties
• Contribute to the development of environmental management plans for real estate assets
• Stay updated with emerging environmental technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant experience in environmental assessment, preferably in the real estate sector
• Proficiency with environmental monitoring and testing equipment
• Strong data collection and analysis skills
• Knowledge of environmental regulations in Brazil
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and real estate development processes
• Fluency in Portuguese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant environmental certifications such as LEED or BREEAM
