Environmental Technician - Industrial Inspection IPPC/AAI

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Authorization service in IPPC facilities ensuring compliance with Decree 16/2024 (BOCYL).
• Plan, execute, and evaluate technical inspections to ensure large industries operate under high environmental standards.
• Ensure rigorous application of environmental regulations regarding emissions, discharges, waste, and noise.
• Review environmental history, technical documentation, and surveillance plans of inspected companies.
• Conduct in-situ inspection visits to plants and prepare technical reports, minutes, and conformity opinions.
• Act as a technical interlocutor with the Junta de Castilla y León and facility managers.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Environmental, Agronomical), Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial environmental inspection or technical consultancy oriented to IPPC.
• Experience in Authorized Control Bodies (OCA) or inspection entities accredited under UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17020.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory framework, specifically Decree 1/2015 and Decree 16/2024 of Castilla y León.
• Valid B driving license for regular mobility to technical sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific training in sampling and measurement techniques for pollutants (atmosphere, water, soil).
• Residence in Valladolid or the province.
