Environmental Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual and heavy labor tasks to treat, store, pack, move, and dispose of hazardous waste
• Supervise and operate fork trucks and heavy equipment for material movement
• Collect inbound waste samples for laboratory analysis
• Complete required paperwork in accordance with company practices and procedures
• Separate and pack materials for transport and disposal

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of related work experience
• Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including respirators, Tyvek coveralls, and steel-toed shoes

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience sampling and receiving hazardous waste
