About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine manual and heavy labor tasks to treat, store, pack, move, and dispose of hazardous waste
- Supervise and operate fork trucks and heavy equipment for material movement
- Collect inbound waste samples for laboratory analysis
- Complete required paperwork in accordance with company practices
- Separate and pack materials for transport and disposal
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of related work experience
- Ability to operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment including respirators and Tyvek coveralls
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience sampling and receiving hazardous waste
