About the role
Responsibilities
- Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with compliant practices
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the day
- Operate a forklift and other mobile equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely in accordance with regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Willingness to wear personal protection equipment including respirators and steel-toed shoes
- Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional nights or weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods
- Visual acuity for reading labels and depth perception for forklift operation
- Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms
