Environmental Technician I

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, pack, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste
• Perform industrial cleaning, pressure washing, and wastewater treatment
• Manage spill response and facility services
• Complete required documentation accurately and in accordance with regulations

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with hazardous materials
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment including respirators and Tyvek coveralls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Basic computer skills for web-based training
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
