About the role
Responsibilities
- Segregate and package material for transport
- Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials
- Operate fork trucks and mobile equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods
- Visual acuity and depth perception for reading labels and driving forklifts
- Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments
- Willingness to wear personal protection equipment including respirators and steel-toed shoes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
