About the role
Responsibilities
- Segregate and package material for transport
- Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials
- Operate fork trucks and other mobile equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with hazardous materials
- Ability to operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Visual acuity and depth perception for safe equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments
- Willingness to wear personal protection equipment including respirators and Tyvek coveralls
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Basic computer skills for web-based training
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
