Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) and Corporate Responsibility teams to advance environmental goals and track progress.
• Support the development, communication, and implementation of specific environmental initiatives and programs.
• Manage project timelines and provide status updates to ensure deadlines are met.
• Identify opportunities to optimize water and energy usage, reduce waste, and advance recycling and LEED projects.
• Lead or support committees and working groups to research and monitor sustainability initiatives.
• Collect, calculate, and analyze environmental sustainability data, maintaining high levels of data integrity and managing utility invoicing.
• Report progress on initiatives to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support Corporate Responsibility with data collection for public disclosures, assurance auditing, and ESG scoring.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (Senior Specialist level requires 5+ years).
• Knowledge of sustainability certifications and environmental regulations.
• In-depth understanding of GHG scopes and reporting.
• Strong understanding of LEED standards.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience in benchmarking and analyzing utility data.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull at least 40 lbs.
