Environmental Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental remediation and construction projects at multiple sites
• Manage daily field operations including personnel, subcontractors, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
• Coordinate project sequencing, scheduling, and execution
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and contract requirements
• Maintain accurate daily field reports and project documentation
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and production goals
• Procure materials and coordinate with vendors
• Assist with cost estimates, change orders, and forecasting
• Supervise, mentor, and support the development of field staff

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental remediation, soil remediation, or related construction
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary field crews and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods
• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to 50% to project sites across multiple states
• Required supervisor training experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification and 8-Hour Refresher
• OSHA 30 Certification
• USACE or Department of Defense (DoD) project experience
• USACE Quality Control (QC) Training
