Environmental Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all daily field operations related to environmental remediation projects
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations
• Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to meet established milestones and goals
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications
• Develop and implement safety protocols and conduct safety meetings
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in environmental remediation project oversight
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER)
• Proven leadership and team management skills on construction and remediation sites
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple project sites
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
