Environmental Sr. Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain site’s Environmental Management System to ensure adherence to ISO 14001
• Manage air permits including applications, renewals, and modifications
• Calculate emissions, PTE, and maintain emission inventories
• Maintain SWPPP and ensure BMP implementation
• Conduct stormwater, wastewater, and waste area inspections
• Manage industrial waste, scrap, and recycling programs
• Maintain SDS library and chemical inventory
• Maintain SPCC plan and lead spill response and root cause investigations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience including ISO 14001
• Experience with TDEC air, stormwater, and wastewater permits
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CPESC, RCRA, DOT Hazmat, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, CHMM, or SPCC
• Experience with hazardous and industrial waste management
• Previous experience in the tire manufacturing industry
