About the role
Responsibilities
- Sample waste streams according to policies and procedures
- Manifest, package, label, load, and unload hazardous materials
- Coordinate transportation and disposal services
- Respond to spills and perform remedial activities
- Maintain compliance with DOT, EPA, and company safety procedures
- Operate and maintain equipment professionally
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A or B with H endorsement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science discipline
- Customer service orientation
- Time management and multitasking ability
