Environmental Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Clearance (EC) and Terms of Reference (TOR) processes
• Prepare consent to establish and consent to operate documentation for the Pollution Control Board
• Prepare compliance reports as required by MEEFCC and SPCB
• Design, maintain, and operate ETP/STP systems
• Coordinate with MoEF for Environment and Forest Clearances
• Handle EIA, EC, and CGWC documentation and liaising formalities
• Conduct mine inspections for environmental safety compliance
• Perform research and analysis to forecast potential environmental problems
• Undertake all environment aspects related to mine execution and operation
• Provide training and guidance to team members

Requirements

• M.Sc./Ph.D. in Environmental Science or MTech in Environmental Engineering
• 8-12 years of experience as an Environment Expert in Mining, Steel, or Cement industries
• Expertise in analytical environmental parameters (water, soil, ambient, and stack monitoring)
• Experience in EIA/ESIA review, report writing, and ecological restoration studies
• Proven track record in obtaining environmental clearances and conducting inspections
