Environmental Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and general cleaning to maintain a sanitary, orderly, and attractive environment
• Execute isolation cleaning procedures to prevent the spread of infection
• Conduct hard floor care and various levels of carpet care
• Manage daily collection, storage, and disposal of university waste
• Perform grounds cleaning tasks and snow removal as needed
• Assist with moving services and functional setups throughout the university
• Operate university vehicles and vehicular equipment
• Adhere to all compliance standards, including safety and infection control policies

Requirements

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to carry out duties
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift or exert force of up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in institutional environmental services
• Valid driver’s license
