Environmental Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform various housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and attractive environment within Rutgers Biomedical and Health Services
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas to ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or bloodborne pathogens
• Manage physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds as required by the role

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to carry out position duties
• Valid Driver's License
• Safe driving record

• Prior experience in institutional housekeeping
