Environmental Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and cleaning duties for campus buildings, including classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, and stairwells
• Clean restrooms and sanitize surfaces
• Dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty wastebaskets and collect trash
• Dust furniture, clean blackboards, and wipe walls
• Operate floor and carpet machinery
• Maintain outside entrance areas by removing debris and snow
• Complete bio-hazard clean-up training and provide necessary services
• Transport supplies and stock closets
• Assist with event set-ups and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least one year of custodial experience
• Valid US driver's license held for at least three years
• Ability to pass the College’s motor vehicle record (MVR) rating system check
