Environmental Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and emergency systems
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a safe and timely manner
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready
• Maintain customer service standards and resolve resident complaints
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, building codes, and environmental laws
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing maintenance tasks
• May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• One year of experience in property management maintenance
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations
• Proficiency using general maintenance tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment
• Ability to handle and use chemicals and cleaning supplies
• Possession of basic hand tools necessary for maintenance duties
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company or personal vehicle
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
