About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean public areas and resident apartments including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, and furniture
- Perform housekeeping duties such as changing beds, dusting, polishing metalwork, and washing walls
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens
- Maintain laundry areas and keep utility/storage rooms orderly
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies
- Stock cleaning carts and empty wastebaskets
- Transport trash and waste to disposal areas
- Report resident health changes or maintenance issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to engage thoughtfully with residents during transitions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Adherence to dress code and professional appearance
- Observance of safety and security procedures
- Proper use of equipment and materials
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
