Environmental Scientist

Responsibilities

• Support environmental remediation and environmental compliance projects across federal and commercial programs
• Contribute to and develop technical proposal content in collaboration with Business Development teams
• Interpret and apply environmental regulations, including federal and state requirements
• Prepare technical reports, evaluations, and supporting documentation
• Support groundwater remediation activities, including site characterization and long-term monitoring
• Perform or support groundwater modeling and data analysis
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy
• Assist with project planning, data interpretation, and decision-making processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related scientific discipline
• 8–12 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in groundwater remediation, soil remediation, and environmental compliance
• Strong technical writing skills for reports and proposals
• Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and compliance frameworks
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal programs (DOE, DOD, or similar)
• Familiarity with site characterization, risk assessment, and corrective action strategies
• Experience supporting proposal development or technical business development
• Advanced degree in environmental science or related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., PG, CHMM, QEP)
