About the role
Responsibilities
- Supporting remedial and process engineering projects to design, construct, operate, and optimize systems
- Planning and performing assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and O&M
- Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, and modeling to develop remedial strategies
- Preparing design basis, technology feasibility analyses, and design plans, specifications, and reports
- Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance
- Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- EIT required; P.E. preferred
- Strong knowledge of TDEC, CERCLA, RCRA, and environmental regulations
- Hands-on experience with remediation technologies for soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel overnight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with remedial system instrumentation, controls, and remote telemetry
