Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform tasks in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment supporting environmental assessment and remediation projects
• Provide overall task and project management, including establishing objectives, scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Oversee site investigation activities for soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and air
• Review existing data and design technical approaches for site assessment and remediation
• Write and review technical documents, including sampling plans and investigation reports
• Prepare remediation feasibility studies, decision documents, and cost estimates
• Coordinate data validation, compilation, and statistical evaluation
• Implement safety, quality, and risk management leadership at a project level
• Mentor junior staff to develop technical skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology
• Strong technical background and proven leadership management experience
• Knowledge of TRRP, RCRA, and CERCLA regulations
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-Hour Supervisor training
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel 30% regionally with overnights

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Geologist (P.G.) license
• 2+ years of related project management or fiscal management experience
• DoD experience
• Staff management and supervisory experience
