Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and support remedial and process engineering projects and teams to design, construct, and optimize systems
• Plan and perform assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and O&M remedying
• Evaluate data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, and modeling to develop remedial strategies
• Prepare documents for state and federal programs, including the CT Property Transfer Program
• Develop design basis, technology feasibility analyses, and design plans, specifications, and reports
• Communicate with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance
• Manage projects ranging from small retail sites to complex industrial and federal facilities
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of CT RSRs, CERCLA, RCRA, and NYSDEC DER-10
• Hands-on experience with remediation technologies for soil, groundwater, and air
• Experience with state, municipal, and federal contract management
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT, GIT, P.G., or P.E. certification
• CT LEP or CT LEP Track status
