About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental licensing and permitting activities for electric and gas projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Review capital improvement projects and facility modifications to evaluate potential environmental impacts and regulatory needs
  • Oversee client field operations and manage documentation of site visits to monitor compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and client procedures
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to engineering and corporate personnel regarding environmental requirements
  • Manage permitting processes within established project schedules
  • Review and manage environmental aspects of projects throughout the design and construction phases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental/civil engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Article VII and a basic understanding of the new Article VIII
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental licensing and permitting regulatory requirements
  • Proven project management experience
  • Familiarity with GIS software
