About the role
Responsibilities
- Track, categorize, label, and weigh scheduled waste inventory
- Maintain ESWIS submissions and ensure all records are up to date
- Arrange for the collection of scheduled waste in compliance with legal and company requirements
- Train and supervise scheduled waste operators
- Coordinate 5S initiatives and assist in maintaining ISO 14001 standards
- Monitor EHS performance, inspections, and contractor management
- Provide EHS orientation training for new foreign workers
- Prepare EHS-related reports and update Gemba Walk observations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental or EHS-related field
- Certified Environmental Professional In Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM)
- Knowledge of Applied Science, Engineering, or Manufacturing environments
- Experience with ESWIS submission and tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional environmental or safety competencies (e.g., SHO)
- Background in Chemical, Health, or Safety disciplines
