Environmental Monitoring Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental monitoring sampling including viable, non-viable, surface, and personnel sampling
• Perform utility sampling on compressed gas systems and collect/test water system samples
• Support performance qualifications (PQ) for environmental, utility, and water systems
• Complete accurate data entry and review in compliance with GMP and lab standards
• Execute routine equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance
• Follow cGMP requirements, identify non-conformances, and support investigations
• Maintain inspection-readiness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Microbiology major preferred)
• Experience with aseptic technique, streak plating, or colony counting
• Experience with endotoxin testing, bioburden testing, or microbial identification
• Experience with surface or air sampling and cleanroom monitoring
• Strong computer, lab, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in Lebanon, Indiana, and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industry environmental monitoring experience
• Experience using GMARS systems
