Environmental Monitoring & Sample Management Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination and follow-up of Environmental Monitoring activities, including batch-related and routine monitoring
• Ensure timely follow-up of EM results, data review, and issue resolution to avoid product release delays
• Monitor sample lifecycle, track deadlines, and ensure compliant escalation of deviations
• Take ownership of collection, reconciliation, documentation, and shipment of QC samples
• Drive workflow optimization, standardization, and scalability for sample management
• Lead and coach a team of 10-15 people, focusing on engagement and team culture
• Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and automate processes
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, and IPL QC teams to align priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment (pharma or biotech preferred)
• Previous experience managing and leading operational teams
• Proven experience with process coordination and operational workflows
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Dutch
