Environmental Monitoring Lead Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and sampling according to inspection orders, procedures, and SGS operating instructions
• Lead field monitoring and resolve or report any deviations during development
• Lead opening and closing meetings for services
• Prepare inspection and safety documentation as applicable
• Inform the Operations Coordinator or Project Leader regarding non-conformities to apply corrective measures
• Report operating expenses, service deliverables, and update information
• Supervise quality and safety of assigned personnel based on activity risks
• Provide timely response to emergency environmental monitoring requests from clients
• Comply with company guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Technician degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Fishing, Biology, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental monitoring (1 year leading groups)
• Proficiency in monitoring matrices: water, air, soil, noise, and advanced knowledge of emission matrices
• Availability to travel and work in rotating shifts
• Ability to drive with a valid A2b license (min 2 years) or A1 license (min 3 years)
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
