Environmental Managing Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage complex local and international Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies and projects
• Develop and manage relationships with authorities, clients, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including IPPC Decree, EIA decrees, and permitting requirements
• Define, coordinate, and implement environmental monitoring plans
• Identify new project opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and provide cost estimates
• Provide compliance assurance for impact assessment studies against local legal requirements and international standards (IFC, EBRD)
• Work across diverse sectors including oil & gas, power (renewables), and manufacturing

Requirements

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
• Extended experience as an Environmental Consultant within a consultancy firm
• Proven experience in a Project Manager role
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Familiarity with EHS National Environmental regulations and International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.)
• Experience liaising with authorities, decision-makers, and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of French is highly valued for projects in Francophone countries
