Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor, forecast, and communicate environmental costs at the project level
• Identify, obtain, and manage applicable permits within the Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Review and interpret environmental and civil specifications and drawings
• Prepare site-specific plans and submit required regulatory reports
• Communicate project environmental requirements to field crews to ensure compliance
• Conduct environmental training, field inspections, and risk identification
• Coordinate and implement project-wide environmental compliance programs and strategies
• Manage records of all requirements and monitor compliance tools
• Identify federal, state, and local requirements regarding hazardous waste, air quality, and stormwater

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental health, environmental engineering, environmental studies, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional environmental experience
• Strong technical knowledge of environmental regulations
• Experience implementing training programs
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
• Proficiency with standard computer software
