Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations across company operations.
• Manage and monitor legal environmental requirements, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate plant environmental performance, including water treatment systems and regulatory parameter compliance.
• Implement and strengthen the Corporate Environmental Management System through audits and continuous improvement practices.
• Monitor and analyze environmental indicators to drive organizational performance.
• Define and implement corporate strategies for waste management and environmental goal achievement.
• Lead water efficiency and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate environmental targets.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and environmental certification processes.
• Develop training and awareness programs to strengthen the organizational environmental culture.

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental management and leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican environmental regulations (CONAGUA, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA).
• Experience managing environmental projects, specifically in water efficiency or energy.
• Proficiency in Power BI for maintaining and managing indicator dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data segmentation).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (required).
