Responsibilities

• Perform bench chemistry methods including colorimetric, gravimetric, and potentiometric techniques
• Work with strong acids using HotBlock and AutoBlock techniques in the Metals digestions department
• Execute Organic Extractions using Solid Phase, Liq/Liq, and Horn Sonication techniques
• Receive and log samples into LIMS following Chain of Custody (CoC) protocols
• Prepare sample kits and transfer samples throughout the laboratory
• Support other potential roles in VOA prep, TCLP, and WeighRoom

Requirements

• BA/BS in a scientific field
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work overtime as workload requires

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in service or retail positions
